How to setup a new FTP account in the DirectAdmin Control Panel
  1. Login to the DirectAdmin Control Panel (located at http://da1.hardlines.com or http://www.yourdomain.com/admin).

  2. In the Username field, type your administrator username.
  3. In the Password field, type your administrator password, and click Login.
  4. Once logged in, your screen will look like this:


  5. Under the FTP Accounts field, select FTP Management.


  6. Click Create FTP Account.


  7. In the FTP Username field, enter your desired FTP username.
  8. In the Select Password field, type your desired password for this user.
  9. Retype the desired password in the Confirm Password field.
  10. Selected the desired home directory for this FTP user. In most instances, the default selection (Domain) is acceptable.
  11. Click the Create button.
